I knew Alexandr just going around, visiting some turist places, he offered as a tourist guide,….and I found more than a good tourist guide, just a friend. He is really a very friendly guy and extremely helpful…and honest. Sure, I will recommend you, Alexandr, to my friends who want to visit Kiev as a guide and also to rent an apartment.

When on my first vist to the beautiful city of Kiev, Ukraine, I met Alexandr buy chance.He kindly introduced him self to me and breifly out lined his very professional services,of personal tour guide,accomodation requirements,translator, and any other avenues of assistance that you may wish for. With in a short time, I was off on a very imformed tour of the most amazing sights of Kiev.In the following days of my visit,Alexandr was most help full to organise a computer repair,trip to a country region,experience the subway trains,shoping and meals around the city,and finally my transport to the International flight terminal at 5-00am. My visit was made most memerable,due to the uncompromized and very professional service that is offered.I found Alexandr to be a very honest,down to earth,.and pleasant person. When I got to Kiev in mid-June , I was on a mission. An independent television producer on assignment, I had only a few days to capture on camera the essence of Kiev and the surrounding region. Fortunately, I met Alex while I was roaming the streets of Kiev. He saw me with my camera, approached me and introduced himself and explained his services. I only wish I had met him sooner. However, my last day in Kiev proved to be one of the most significant. He not only guided me through the city, but also took me outside the city to a living history museum where they had transplanted villages from throughout Ukraine as a means of preserving their culture and history. What a treasure! I got some of the best footage of the trip. More importantly, Alex was friendly, cordial and devoted himself to what I needed to achieve that day. When your in a foreign land you need someone like Alex to show you the way and make it pleasurable and productive. Thank you Alex, for enabling me to say «Mission Accomplished»

I ran into Alex while taking in a few of the sights of Kiev. He offered to show me all the sights and over the next few days I am happy to say that I went everywhere!!
He is very good company, good sense of humour and can take you to the best sights, and also the best restaurants and locations around Kiev

I have used many translator’s and guides in my visits to Ukraine but Alex is the most personable and knowledgable for sure.

I am an American from California and I recently visited Kiev for the first time and did not know what to expect. I stayed at the Hyatt and was walking near the hotel on my first day and met Alexandr, who offered me a very reasonable price to do a tour of major sites in Kiev. The tour with Alexandr was the highlight of my visit to Kiev. We toured some of the magnificent churches in the City (the underground tour of one of the churches is a must do), and visited important monuments to Kiev’s history, such as the Memorial commemorating the 1922 Famine, and the awesome memorial for the Great Patrotic War (what Americans call World War II). All of these were great, and Alexandr was helpful in taking pictures of me. But Alexandr himself is an impressive individual. He is thoughtful and knowledgeable, and I was very impressed with the great tour he gave, and his knowledge of the City. I love history, and Alexandr was able to answer all of my questions and tell me things that I didn’t know. I didn’t know that Kiev was 1400 years old for example, or some facts about the country as a whole, including the areas of Crimea and Odessa. Alexandr is an enterprising and smart businessman, who has amazing skills and a warm personality. He also has apartments in the City for guests that look very nice. I feel like I made a friend in Kiev, and look forward to coming back to the Ukraine and meeting with Alexandr again for another tour. Next time I think that I will go with him to Crimea or Odessa. Touring with Alexandr and using his services are totally worth doing. He’s a great human being and offers a wonderful opportunity for tourists and visitors to see and learn all about Kiev, which thanks to Alexandr, is now one of my favorite cities in the world.

I was walking along the main street of Kiev unable to find the post office and I met Alexandr, thankfully he was able to help me and then he took a group of 4 of us around the sights of Kiev and was fantastic. We had a real bonus with seeing the caves and old Ukrainian wooden villages and especially as we saw the log beehives, as our group were beekeepers from Australia. He was able to be a contact for posting a parcel back to Australia, you cannot send without having a Kiev contact, parcel arrived yesterday so I am very happy, thanks Alexandr
